Thought I would give you a little peek at my current WIP (work in progress), which I hope to have completed by the end of 2012.
‘He stared at the screen, at Jane’s dark bedroom, waiting for her to come back to him. He looked at the bottom right-hand corner of his screen and saw that it’s almost 11:30. Where the hell was Janie?
He can’t watch the dark empty room anymore. His heart raced and he’s getting a headache, wondering where she is and what she’s doing. She never goes out on a Friday night.
“If she IS on a date, he’d better be fucking perfect, that’s all I can say.”
He changed screens and caught a brand new room.
”Well, well, well,” he said as he leaned back in his chair. “If it isn’t the Eastwoods…at last! I thought they were never gonna get here. I gave the Padre these damn T.V.s 6 months ago and he’s only given away the last one now! Oh well, at least it finally found a home.”
He saw 2 adults; a male around 40, tall with blond curly hair and a female around the same age, with shoulder length brown hair and pretty blue eyes. They installed the T.V. in their living room with a perfect view of the front door, the family room, half of the stairway and part of the kitchen. Can’t wait to meet the kids in the morning. Since they’re putting it in this late at night, I’m guessing that it was meant to be a surprise for the young’uns. Good. He’ll get to share that with them.
It was too quiet there so he checked his other children. Ken is at home alone, watching old movies on T.V. Poor bastard. He really deserves to have a good woman in his life, especially after tolerating that bitch Clair for 11 whole years.
Back to Jane, with the fingers on his left hand crossed, he watched for any sign that she was home safe and sound. He heard something in the kitchen and the hall light came on. She was home. He was so relieved that she’s safe and sound.
He couldn’t take his eyes off the screen, even as he took another sip of coffee and lit a cigarette. He needed to see her for himself to make sure that she was okay.
The bedroom light went on at almost the same time that the hallway light was turned off. Janie girl almost floated into the bedroom. She took off all of her clothes except for her bra and panties and let herself fall onto her bed. She was smiling and she looked happier than he had ever seen her.
Could she? Could she possibly be in love? She looked like a woman who’s in love. All kinds of scenarios fill his mind as he thought about his Janie girl out with a man…having dinner in a dimly lit restaurant and holding hands across the table. A romantic walk along the beach at sunset, shoes in hand, pants rolled up. Snuggled under a blanket on the sofa, watching a movie, hands slipping under clothing…FUCK! He jumped up as the hot coffee spilled over his hand and onto his lap, the Styrofoam cup crushed, and his fingernail prints embedded into the soft, white material.’
If you enjoyed this, I can post more excerpts in the future.

Is this an intro? First chapter? Looking forward to reading more!
It’s page 29….lol. Just a random section in the POV of the villain (which is always my favorite to write). Glad you liked it. Will post more as I get further along.
That will teach him to use styro cups
Red.
Yeah…he’s not exactly the type to think about the environment though.
